Kwek, Siomai, Foot Long
Another thing I love about UP is its wide array of food offerings. Lots and lots and lots of goodies on sticks. Also C2 is quite popular here. The company even gave us freshies free ID straps during our start-of-term orientation. SO even though I haven’t eaten either lunch or dinner (oh, the pangs of college life where you feel there are other more important things to do other than satisfy your grumbling stomach) I don’t feel hungry.
Not THAT hungry, anyway.
It’s strange that I can still maintain an air of serenity despite all the stuff that are going to happen tomorrow. So many things to do, so much work to finish and I’m still here, typing random thoughts into my blog. Of course, that’s what I often did in high school, too, so it really shouldn’t be a biggie, but to think I’m already in college! I’m supposed to be more responsible now.
Surprise, surprise. I’m free as a bird. I can do every thing I want.
(Insert evil laugh here)
BTW, when you guys get to college (for those who aren’t in college yet) and you feel like you’re never going to make any new friends (especially for those who aren’t going to study in Xavier) don’t fret because sooner or later you’ll find your own barkada to hang out with. It could be an uncanny twist of fate that’ll bring your group together in an instant or it could take a couple of weeks for you guys to fully accept each other. In my case, with my college friends, it took a long time.
But I’m not all fussed about it actually. Although I can hardly remember how all of us met (I only know we didn’t meet each other and become friends in a snap) I’m thankful I met people like them. They’re fun to be with, just like my friends in CDO. Hehehehehehehe.
Another thing, I think I’m finally moving on! (Three cheers and a hurrah!) Not that I’m in love with anyone in particular right now (and I don’t have any plans of finding someone to cry over and dream about and whatev) but I have a lot of classmates who really fascinate me. Haha! The girls in Kalai are mostly taken from the same mold but the boys - the boys! - are all so different! Some are too feminine, some love anime too much, some are too smart for their own good, some play basketball every afternoon, some don’t get out of their rooms and ALL OF THEM are so funny to watch. They remind me of different-colored mice used in animal testing centers. Haha! Scientific research specimen!
So funny. hehehehehe.
Well, night all. I’ve got to meet Mackie and Harry and whoever else is there for ‘dinner’ and then I’ve got to dash for our skit rehearsal and then I’ve got to study Math and read the documents for Marine Science.
Toodles! Poof…
